Material & Texture
Crafted from a premium cotton-linen blend, the fabric offers the structural breathability of linen combined with the soft, durable comfort of cotton. The textile boasts a remarkable, highly tactile jacquard-woven wood grain (moire) pattern. This intricate texture gives the fabric an organic, three-dimensional depth that beautifully catches the light and emphasizes its raw, artisanal character.
 
The Master Dyeing Process (Shulang & River Mud)
Traditional Mud-Dyeing (7-Cycle Double-Dye Process): The exceptional deep, earthy brown color and weathered patina are achieved through a rare and rigorous traditional technique. The fabric is first saturated with the tannin-rich juices of Dioscorea cirrhosa (Shulang / Dye Root) and subsequently coated with iron-rich river mud.
The Art of Over-Dyeing: This meticulous process is repeated sequentially for seven complete cycles. The natural reaction between the plant tannins and the minerals in the river mud darkens the fibers, creating a rich, organic multi-toned finish with a "living" quality that will beautifully evolve, soften, and develop a personalized character with wear.
Artisanal Pre-Wash: Following the intensive dyeing process, the garment undergoes a small-batch wash to pre-shrink the fabric, soften its hand-feel, and lock in its distinctive, crinkled texture.

Fully Lined in Plant-Dyed Fabric: No detail is overlooked—the interior is entirely lined with a breathable, lightweight fabric that has also undergone the same botanical dyeing process, ensuring absolute cohesion inside and out.
Functional Pocket Architecture: Beyond the three functional exterior pockets (two lower flap pockets and one subtle chest welt pocket), the coat features an integrated interior breast pocket lined with a clean contrast trim for securing valuables.
Finely Crafted Buttons: The front is fastened with premium, expertly finished resin-style buttons, featuring a subtle matte texture and robust cross-stitching for long-lasting durability.
