Return Policy

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

At KuluKabi, each garment is hand-dyed using natural plants, meaning no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Slight variations in shade, tone, and texture are part of the beauty of plant dyeing. They reflect the natural process and the individuality of each item.

We value transparency and craftsmanship, and we want you to feel completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return and exchange policy carefully below.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns or exchanges under the following conditions:

  1. Condition: Item(s) must be in unworn, unwashed, and original condition, with no stains, odours, or damage.

  2. Tags & Packaging: All original tags must be attached, and the item(s) must be returned in their original packaging.

  3. Time Frame: Return requests must be made within 14 days from the date you receive your order.

  4. Final Sale Items: Items marked as Final Sale or Custom-Dyed are not eligible for return or refund, except in cases of manufacturing defects or errors.

If the returned item does not meet these conditions, it will be sent back to you at your own cost.

Exchanges

We are happy to offer size exchanges or product swaps for Australian orders within 30 days of delivery, provided the requested item is in stock.

To initiate an exchange, please contact us at franz@kulukabi.com.au with your order number and reason for exchange. Once your return parcel is scanned in transit, your replacement item will be shipped at no additional cost.

If your requested size or item is unavailable, we will issue a store credit or refund according to eligibility.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method once your return is received and inspected.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • Refunds are not available for Final Sale or Custom-Dyed items.

Please allow 5–10 business days for your refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.

Store Credit

If you choose store credit instead of a refund, you will receive a 100% credit note as a token of our appreciation.
Your credit will be valid for 3 years and can be used on any future purchase via kulukabi.com.au.

Return Shipping

Within Australia:

  • Returns for refunds: a $10 AUD return shipping fee will be deducted.

  • Returns for exchanges or store credit: complimentary return shipping is provided.

International Returns:

  • Returns from outside Australia: customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

Custom-Dyed & Made-to-Order Items

Please note that all custom-dyed and made-to-order garments are crafted individually for you.
Due to their unique nature, these items are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless the product is faulty or incorrectly sent.

Our Promise

We stand by the craftsmanship of every KuluKabi piece. If you receive an item that is damaged or incorrect, please reach out to us within 7 days of receiving your order at franz@kulukabi.com.au, and we’ll make it right.
